Inspired by ancient Mapuche metalwork - the earliest forms made with silver coins from the Conquistadors. The traditional Upul earrings were made with a single piece of metal and one was often worn by the chief as a symbol of power. Made from recycled brass with a color tone very similar to 14K gold. Tumbled to a lovely glow and wax buffed to enhance its luster and prevent tarnish. Measures just over 1".
See my shop for the recycled sterling silver version.
